Description:

Restoration contracts are unique to construction. The relationship between insurance, insured and contractor present unique payment challenges, many of which need to be addressed in the construction contract. This presentation will focus on the provisions that any restoration contractor should consider, including payment terms, scope clarification, insured’s obligation to assist contractor with presentment of and payment for the claim, warranty issues and more. Karen Ensley is a Texas Board Certified construction lawyer with a sub-specialty in representing storm restoration contractors and is therefore uniquely qualified to address these issues.
